Founded in 1987, Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) is a Christian non-profit organization committed to feeding God's children hungry in body and spirit. The approach is simple: volunteers hand-pack meals specially formulated for malnourished children, and FMSC sends them to partners around the world where they're used to operate orphanages, schools, clinics and feeding programs to break the cycle of poverty. FMSC food has reached nearly 70 countries in their history.

What You Can Do:

We are looking for volunteers and financial partners to help with all stages of this event. Volunteers can sign up for two hour shifts, and in each shift a volunteer will pack roughly 227 meals, or $50 worth of meals at a cost of 22 cents per meal. Financial sponsorship opportunities are available for individuals or organizations at all levels.

For years I have been listening to parents struggling with the faith of their children. I have also struggled as a parent. I believe that God is the author and finisher of our faith and, not that we as parents have not been praying “well enough” for our children, but corporate prayer is something that gets God’s attention. We need a revival! So we will have a time of corporate prayer for our children. This gathering is geared more for parents with children high school age or older, looking for conversions and Lordship commitments from Generation X and Millennials. We would love to have you pray with us!

  • Habitat for Humanity Tucson Office (map)

As we age, medications that were previously prescribed may not be appropriate or may need a reduced dose. New medications must be added with care. As our anatomy and physiology change, our reaction to medications also changes. As we age, we tend to accumulate more medications from more prescribers. Medications themselves can be a cause of illness and premature death. By knowing more about how medications can negatively affect our health, and how their interaction with each other can cause problems, we may prevent avoidable complications and keep ourselves healthier.

Dr. Domer is a Board Certified Geriatrician with extensive experience in caring for patients with dementia. He received his medical degree from University of Cincinnati - College of Medicine and has been in practice for more than 20 years. Dr. Domer specializes in the unique health needs of the older generation, including chronic diseases, nutritional problems, skin ailments, cognitive loss, memory impairment, adverse effects of medications, immobility and balances issues.

The Cross Walk

Calling all Daughters of Zion, Men of Valor, and all Saints of God!

The Holy Ghost is on the move again and is calling you to report for duty at “The Cross Walk”.  The Siloam Christian Church is organizing the event to walk 3 Crosses from Siloam to Tucson High School and various stops at the UA campus. We will be praying for places and people, sharing the gospel and evangelizing the community while telling people about the wonderful news that Jesus Saves as we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus the Christ the Son of the Living God. “The Cross Walk” event will be approximately 1.5 miles, with a fellowship meal at the end.

Watch a VIDEO of last year’s experience. This year we are going to the next level and it will be more powerful and more exciting. You don’t want to miss out!

Refugee 101 Night

This is a great opportunity to get a comprehensive overview of refugee resettlement, learn some basic facts, and explore how you can get involved. All are welcome. Many refugee-serving organizations will be part of the training, and attendance does not obligate you to volunteer.

Participate in an enriching setting to gain knowledge on the struggles and successes of a new American. Some of the questions we will look at include:

  • Who is a Refugee, Asylee or an Immigrant?

  • Why does it help the U.S. strengthen our country’s security?

  • How do you welcome a family in your neighborhood?

  • How do new Americans become self-sufficient?
