J17 in 2024: Year-end Review
John 17: Jesus prayed it, the Father blesses it, and the Holy Spirit is fanning it into flame. What an unprecedented and exciting new season for J17 Ministries.

In 2024, God drew us broader and deeper into Jesus’ strategic prayer to unite the Body of Christ for a divided world. We are experiencing new mutually life-giving relationships around the city, nation, and world. The specifics are so encouraging that we created a page on our in-transition website that you can access (j17ministries.org/2024review).
Looking ahead into 2025, we are responding to God’s invitations by:
Shifting our focus from personally building relational unity among all followers of Jesus to partnering and empowering many, many more to do the same.
Working with citywide ministries toward deeper collaboration, less unintentional competition, and greater clarity on where God has called each of us to excel.
Empowering and supporting new leadership teams for key ministries and programs around the Tucson area.
Growing our J17 Ministries Leadership team with new paid and dedicated non-paid staff – if and when the Lord leads and provides.
Developing a citywide directory of ministry strengths and focal points in collaboration with other cities who are doing likewise.
How is God calling you today to align with Jesus’ John 17 prayer for unity – so that the world may know and the Church may mature?
Here are some possibilities:
Commit to pray regularly alongside what Jesus deemed most strategic and important.
Watch for the launch of a completely new website in January of 2025.
Ask God who you can invite to join you in this Spirit-led movement.
