One of the most valuable things you can give is your time

The Lord’s Prayer that He taught (Matthew 6:9-13) helps us properly interpret the Lord’s Prayer that He prayed (John 17). In the one He taught, Jesus taught us to pray that God’s will be done on earth as it is in heaven. So the unity that Jesus prays in John 17 is also supposed to happen on earth, in our communities, with us being part of the answer to Jesus’ prayer.
What’s your part?
Who is He calling you to love like He loves us? Our answer to those questions needs to show up on each of our calendars and priority lists, no matter what city, nation, or country we live in.
Specific volunteer opportunities

Serve at a John 17 Weekend
Each pair of John 17 Weekends (men’s and women’s) equips about 100 volunteers to live out John 17 at an incredibly practical and tangible level. To serve on a weekend, the first step is to attend one!
If you live in an area with a Tres Dias weekend, the same principles apply, and the weekends are similarly structured.
Join Our Prayer Support Team
The enemy’s chief strategy is to divide and conquer - which means we need your prayer partnership! If you would like to be part of the J17 Ministries prayer support team, contact us. We’ll provide regular updates for ways to pray.
Commit to One-Lunch-a-Month
Would you be willing to commit to one lunch or coffee meeting a month in order to build a new relationship with a peer or colleague? You can do that on your own without any additional guidance from us! But we’re also beginning the work of mapping the City Church in Tucson, meaning identifying as many parts as possible and more strategically building connections and relationships. So if you’d like to increase our intentionality in relational unity, let us know of your commitment! And if you’re curious if your community in the U.S. is doing something similar, we might know someone who knows. So contact us!
